After spending the holidays with endless family and friends, Keith and I decided to host a small gathering to ring in the New Year. As he worked in the kitchen on “the 12 days of chicken” I prepared the homemade hummus, guacamole and signature drinks. I went for a classic French 74 cocktail, swapping out the cherry for a slice of lemon. Consisting mainly of champagne, it was perfectly refreshing with all the savory treats we served.
While keith wrapped things up in the kitchen, I could now focused on what I would wear while hosting my friends. I collaborated with StyleWe for a NYE promotion and was thrilled to adorn myself in their Silver Pleated Elegant Midi Skirt.
I matched the skirt with a simple Uniqlo black top, J.Crew cardigan, and my Sam Edelman velvet kitten heels. The heels didn’t stay on long and soon the champagne was flowing. Cheers and Happy New Years!!!
